BELLS CORNERS ACADEMY OF MUSIC offers children and
adults professional musical instruction for all levels and interests by highly
qualified teachers. Day and evening classes are available for voice, piano,
strings and woodwind instruments.

The school year is comprised of 36 private
lessons or 32 sessions for ensembles.

Ensembles
JUNIOR CHOIR (ages 5-12)

This ensemble will concentrate on basic unison and two part selections designed to teach the beginning vocalist about the various aspects of group singing. The vocal limitations of the young singer will be considered with regard to repertoire selection.
INTERMEDIATE CHOIR (ages
13-16)
Instructor: TBA
This ensemble will explore unison, two and three-part repertoire written in a style that is appealing to the middle level singer. Both accompanied and unaccompanied music will be selected so that students will be able to work on tuning and ear training in addition to basic vocal production.
SENIOR CHOIR (17-Adult)
Instructor: TBA
This ensemble will work with vocal music in many
different genres and styles so as to appeal to as many different musical tastes
as possible. All aspects of successful
singing will be applied in this choral group.

The B.C.A.M. Jazz Camp offers 2 weeks of classes on jazz combos/bands, improvisation, and jam sessions. Various styles of jazz are covered. The camp is available for students age 12 and over with at least 2 years of instruction on a band instrument, piano or percussion. Auditions may be required. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to be a part of the best Summer Jazz Camp in the region. For info, please call the director at (613) 596-5783. The 18th annual jazz camp will be held from July 5th-16th, 2010, weekdays only from 9am to 3pm. Fee: $520.00
